A drive through the hills in California.

After my interview at Mozilla the other day, I took a leisurely drive through the hills west of Mountain View -- up Moody Rd to Page Hill -- along to Alpine Rd and then down toward La Honda. A nice, leisurely drive.


I left the coastal side in the morning as the fog was rolling in...


Headed to the interview.. and then went on my drive.

Page Hill is a lovely road with a lovely view of the valley below.


It winds through the mountains, back and forth.... but I got a nice view of both San Jose and on the other side, the edge of the world, as the mountains dropped into the endless fog along the pacific.


Page Hill eventually hits Alpine Road, which I took since it wasn't going toward San Francisco, and I was in the mood to explore. Along Alpine Rd, I ran across beautiful redwoods, some parks, and a hiking trail here or there...


Eventually, I wandered down into the valley toward La Honda, passing back into the fog...
